Workshop Topic:
Interbranch Transfers allow for the movement of inventory from one warehouse transit location to another warehouse.

Why Use:
There may be a need to move inventory quantities to replenish dwindling supplies in a warehouse from which a large volume of customer orders ship. When moving inventory to this warehouse involves a transit or shipping delay, an IBT is the appropriate method to be able to indicate inventory is in transit. Multisite – IBT’s allow for inventory to be moved between sites if the sites are under the same financial entity.

Workshop Description (2 hours):
During this session, the attendees will learn how to set up warehouses for interbranch transfers. Attendees will enter, ship and receive an interbranch transfer. The instructor will spend up to 30 minutes reviewing the training material, which will be made available to attendees at the end of the session. The remaining time will be dedicated to setting up the warehouses to allow for interbranch transfers.

Who Should Attend:
Procurement, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory staff will benefit from this training.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this workshop attendees should be able to set up warehouses for interbranch transfers, enter an interbranch transfer, ship an interbranch transfer and receive an interbranch transfer in their live environment.

Workshop Prerequisite:
