Innovant engages Synergy’s Strategic Business Services Group…

World-class office furniture company, Innovant, engages Synergy’s Strategic Business Services Group for an operational business assessment and realizes measurable business improvements.

Faced with many of the same challenges manufacturing companies experience today, we reached out to Mike Canty and the Synergy Strategic Business Services Group to conduct an operational business assessment. The assessment performed by the Synergy SBS Group gave visibility to our company’s strengths and weaknesses and allowed us to clearly “see the big picture”. The assessment “findings and recommendations” report also assisted us in effectively prioritizing the improvement opportunities identified and outlined a phased approach that would allow us to realize our true potential.

The Synergy SBS Group then worked closely with our company to execute the program and facilitate several major projects that provided measurable improvements along the journey. The shop floor Kaizen activity helped to free up space and improve productivity. But perhaps even more important, the method in which the Lean program was deployed effectively trained employees to think and act differently and in a way where we are capable of sustaining the improvements while using the “lessons learned” to continue improvement activities.  Our warehouse Kaizen activity helped to free up additional space and provided us with a foundation to continuously improve the business.

The Synergy SBS Group concurrently worked with Innovant employees to improve our business processes and make visible the critical information needed to support “data driven decisions”. This was aided by the fact they helped us redeploy and integrate our ERP, Design/Rendering, CRM and CAD systems in a more effective manner. And today, for the first time ever, we can leverage these systems to monitor key performance indicators, measure progress, report financials and accurately see detailed costs which will help Innovant drive more improvement activities well into the future.

Soldream Inc. chooses VISUAL ERP


Soldream Inc. is a US based Connecticut market leading supplier of aerospace and defense component manufacturing including design, fabrication and machining of complex assemblies from wide variety of materials, such as high temperature alloys, steel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, aluminum and many others.

The company evaluated its legacy ERP system and determined that their current system was missing several key features that were important to support Soldream’s planned growth and was also not as user friendly and easy to learn as newer generation ERP software. Soldream Inc. also had to comply with high quality demands in a near zero fault tolerant industry which made a compelling case for finding a system with strong QA abilities.

Soldream Inc. conducted a formal ERP Selection reviewing the following systems; Epicor, E2 and JobBOSS. During those comparative analysis sessions, it was pointed out that local companies of similar size were successfully using VISUAL coupled with the support of the Synergy Resources team which has years of hands-on manufacturing experience. Synergy’s team is also based in New England and headquartered in New York.

In addition, there are local VISUAL User Groups which hold quarterly meetings with similar A&D users to discuss current solutions and participate in future design and functionality recommendations. Special A&D tools to improve transferring of forecast data to and from A&D contractors made the solution an easy decision. Synergy’s SmartViews reporting tool promised to make data decisionable and accessible.

Soldream Inc. focused on capabilities to administer all of their quality, financial, purchasing, inventory and production planning requirements. Synergy supports Newton, NH Baseball and Softball Association!

Synergy Resources’ donation to the Newton Baseball and Softball Association helped the small community share in a wonderful opening day.  The donations went towards safety equipment for the kids and field maintenance as well as towards a new scoreboard.  The opening Day is the biggest event in the small New Hampshire town and it couldn’t happen without the help of generous donations. 

Synergy’s Paul Tedford and his daughter Lily are on the team as well as Synergy’s customer, Jaimie Bezanson of Truform Precision Manufacturing.

Infor names Synergy Resources as Premier Services Delivery Partner

April 18, 2016 – Synergy Resources has been named a Premier Delivery Partner within the Infor Delivery Partner Program for the support of Infor VISUAL customers.  This is the highest Partner designation for Delivery Partners and it has been assigned to Synergy for its exceptional delivery of services to the Infor VISUAL ERP customer community.
