Our customers are important to us.
When you purchase manufacturing software and services from Synergy Resources, you’re partnering with an organization that strives to see our customers achieve their business objectives.
Our customers range in size from entrepreneurial start-up to large multi-national organizations and compete in manufacturing and distribution industries such as:
Aerospace & Defense
Consumer Packaged Goods
This is a very small sample of the industries we work with on a daily basis.
Just listen to our customers:
“Our flow is so balanced that we don’t expedite material anymore. The change was so quick and dramatic that one of our larger suppliers made a special trip to see us. Because suddenly we had stopped our constant expediting and emergency shipments, they thought we had engaged another supplier, even though we were buying as much or more from them as we ever had.”
“Our customers are very happy with our performance improvement. One of our larger customers, for example, constantly changed delivery requirements inside our ‘frozen zone.’ Our delivery performance was suffering. But with the [new] approach, we haven’t missed an expedited delivery date in three months.”
“Once the fire-fighting and expediting goes away, it’s amazing what we can get done. Now it’s all hands on deck for improvements.”
“We recovered our investment in less than three months. The big driver has been overtime reduction. In the six months prior we were averaging $17,104 in overtime per month. In the last three months, we’ve averaged $5,849 in overtime. However, the overtime trend has been moving steeply downward. In June, we only had $1,206 in overtime. Throughput is up 10%.”
“Only 39 days to transform into a company that can manufacture at warp speed, faster than any of our competitors. We are exceeding all of our plans and expectations.”
“Cost-effective, on-time deliveries are about the only advantages we have left to exploit. [After our improvement project] things go through quicker, and you get the double bonus of throughput dollars first and then the premium price second.”
“…gives you the ability to always be working on what needs to be worked on, and that just says it all for us. Our managers have really bought into the system because it makes their lives so much easier. If you ask me whether or not it will help other companies reduce their lead times, boost their on-time delivery, and improve their shop floor operation, my answer is ‘yes, yes, yes.’”
Cox & Company
“We chose VISUAL based on favorable cost/benefit analysis in comparison with other software systems we evaluated. And also for its proven track record and local support. Synergy Resources’ local support was very important in our selecting VISUAL.”
“Even though we were still a small company at the time, we realized we didn’t have the enterprise system capabilities we needed to run the company. We were using a lot of manual tools to run operations, but VISUAL offered us everything we needed – with many capabilities to grow into as the company grew.”
“Another major improvement at Kiosko has been the time to execute from sales to production. Prior to having a good Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, it could take up to a week to convert a sale into an executable set of work orders. That has been reduced to two days or less.”
Rodney Hunt Company
“Synergy Resources installed Infor VISUAL Scheduling and within three months of the implementation, we experienced considerable improvements. The major drop occurred within six months when we cut our Work in Process (WIP) by 40%. That reduction has been consistent for two years and we are now shipping 50% more product.”
“We are a whole lot closer to on-time deliveries and we have much greater control of our WIP. In fact, even though our sales have increased by 60%, our work-in-progress has only slightly increased, which shows a tremendous improvement.”
ITI Instrument Technology Inc.
“We’re finding VISUAL DBR to be light years ahead of standard scheduling. It is a much simplier management process. Within a couple weeks of implementation we had more visibility into our production.”
– Jeff Carigan, Vice President, Manufacturing, ITI
“VISUAL Enterprise is very definitely a competitive advantage for us”
– Richard Evangelista, Vice President of Operations
“With VISUAL, we’ve been able to improve profit by cutting costs. VISUAL has helped us become a more profitable operation. On-time deliveries have improved by 33%, while labor efficiencies have improved over 15%.”
– Mike Kelly, Vice President of Finance Berkshire Manufactured Products, Inc.
“The Synergy Resources team laid the foundation for our manufacturing operations…They helped us develop best practices and operating procedures so we can run our business more efficiently. I’m very happy with the level of service we’ve received from Synergy Resources. They’re a professional and helpful team that has always been there for us whenever we needed them.”
“Only 39 days to transform ThermoFab into a company that can manufacture at warp speed, faster than any of our competitors. We have exceeded all of our plans and expectations. With VISUAL, we’ve been able to improve profit by cutting costs. VISUAL has helped us become a more profitable operation.” – Tom King, President, ThermoFab
“Many people believe that the implementation of a QMS software package, like Visual Quality, is the starting point to building a solid Quality data collection program, install the software and plug in the data. Not true. Your processes must be in place well in advance. But how well are you doing with that? Synergy Resources helped us determine just that with their Quality Assessment. Synergy Resources provided an unbiased, current state look into our company’s quality management systems as it related to our business, not just to a specific quality standard audit. They provided solid feedback and participated in subsequent internal conversations to help guide us forward into our current phase, the implementation of Visual Quality.” – Lori Mullen, Director of Information Systems
“We went live with VISUAL 7.1.2 in June 2015 and upgraded to Visual 8.0 in June 2016. We started using the Scheduling and MRP in March 2016. From March of 2016 to Sept 2016 we have been able to decrease our inventory by $200,000. This has been a huge advantage for us. It has helped our cash flow and manage our inventory. Our Production Assistants utilize MRP for planning and purchasing, so they can order material with the knowledge of how much we need and when we need it. It has allowed our sales team insight into the production schedule, so they know when an order will be shipped or if it is running late so they can notify the customer. Our Scheduling and Planning are within 2 days of the actual.
I can now close the month within 2 days instead of 5-6 days. The labor is now tracked by barcode instead of writing it out, which has given us more accurate run times, so we have been able to adjust our engineering masters accordingly. We have been able to quote one of our custom parts with Configurator, so sales knows exactly the cost of the item before they give a quote, and we did not have to enter a new part number each time this is made. We also utilize SmartViews for many of your daily reports that capture scrap, open purchase orders with due dates by part number, sales by part, work orders with labor but no material issues and many more.
We now have a fully integrated manufacturing and financial package, that has given us insight into the business in much more detail than we have ever had.
I would also like to add that Bill Reidmiller and Matt Morgan have been very instrumental in making this all happen. Bill helped us with the manufacturing side of the implementation as well as being with us for our first physical inventory in Visual and our upgrade to Visual 8.0. Matt helped me with the financial side of Visual and making sure that my General Ledger was setup correctly. We would not be where we are without them.” – Judy Benjamin, Controller

“On the advice of Synergy Resources Strategic Business Services, Synergy Resources facilitated a business process mapping session. The entire Cabot group was very pleased with the process mapping that took place over the past three days. They now understand the need to change our processes, and are enthused to get moving. We very much appreciate the efforts of Synergy Resources Strategic Business and Application service groups on our behalf. As I said during the event, if there was somewhat of an unknown before starting the project with Synergy’s commitment and professionalism, those concerns are completely gone. As I told the team this morning, we are in the big leagues now.” – Stephen J. Kelley

“The Trial Kit Program developed and marketed by Synergy Resources was purchased for one of our five North American Manufacturing locations. After seeing the benefits that this program provided to our operation in terms of material management, shop floor management and on time delivery to our customers we purchased and deployed the program in all five North American locations that are using Infor’s Visual Manufacturing software. Programs such as this developed by the Synergy Resources Product Development group are exactly the type of products needed to improve a business’s overall efficiency and performance. As a company, we continue to work with all of the various Synergy Resources departments to continual improve our company’s performance.” – Liz Landers
“We engaged Synergy Resources for a strategic business analysis that made obvious our need for a more structured, more aggressive approach to continual improvement. While the diagnosis was important, what has been even more impressive is how Synergy has helped us execute a Lean implementation to achieve this end. Synergy brought a proven, turn-key system, with the people, the training, and the tools to get our fledgling program off the ground and gaining its own momentum from day one. Since then, they have continued to support us with progress monitoring, ongoing training, and trusted counsel to keep us on the right track. These aren’t just consultants – they’re do-ers, whose energy and enthusiasm have challenged us to speed our own drumbeat. “I have engaged Synergy Resources to facilitate Business Process Mapping sessions on two different occasions; the first was part of an ERP Utilization Improvement project for a global manufacturer and distributor of outdoor products, and the second was part of an ERP Implementation project for a large machine tool distribution organization . Both projects were for complex, multi-site organizations and Synergy’s ability to quickly grasp the current state organization and processes, keep the group engaged and on track, as well as lead us to our organizations optimized future states were impressive. I received excellent feedback from the session participants as well – this type of effort serves to opens participants eyes to see improvement opportunities as well as aligns the team to their common goals. I strongly recommend this approach, defining process in conjunction with software, for any organization seeking drastic improvements.” – John Leavitt, VP of Technology
“We engaged Synergy Resources to conduct a Scheduling Workshop at Howard Glass to help us improve our shop floor scheduling process and utilization of the VISUAL Manufacturing scheduling functionality. The results have been great. We have accurate dispatch reports and have headed off many issues before they even became a problem. The ability to predict capacity and other issues is powerful. Having visibility to real issues through the late report is very helpful as well – we no longer have to rely on our memories and written notes to run down issues or risk issues falling off our radar. I’m very pleased with the results of the teams efforts. It’s truly going to help with production planning and control, as well as improving our on time delivery.” – Brian Antul, Production Manager
