At Synergy, Project Coordinators work with other project team employees and under the direction of a Business Unit Director. Their primary role is to plan and execute assigned projects. The primary responsibility involves documenting the agreed project plan with milestones and measuring the project team’s success at the agreed milestones. You will help ensure that all team members and departments understand their responsibilities within the scope of the project. The project coordinator role is expected to coordinate multiple projects and may be assigned miscellaneous task from by the Business Unit Director.

GOALS:

  • On time delivery and in budget completion of assigned projects
  • Achieve a customer reference and continued business
  • About the Responsibilities
  • Solicit team members from the appropriate Leads and / or Director
  • Organize the internal sales hand-off meeting
  • Prepare the initial project plan & set up the VISUAL ERP Orders / Order lines
  • Set up the project portal
  • Facilitate the Customer Kick-Off meeting
  • Send out Budget update reports to customers
  • Facilitate customer milestone meetings
  • Facilitate Change Order Requests and ensure all team members agree
  • Facilitate the resolution of project issues reported by the Project Team or Customer
  • Escalate issues to the Advising Director that threaten schedules, budgets or customer satisfaction

Experience / Education:

LEVEL 1 PROJECT COORDINATOR

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMI or PMP certification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a relevant field

LEVEL 2 PROJECT COORDINATOR

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field
