Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and VISUAL ERP Financials

In response to a series of accounting and management scandals in major corporations, the United States Congress passed the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. This legislation established many new requirements for governing corporations and other businesses serving capital markets. The Act includes reforms to reduce fraud and decrease failures in corporate reporting, particularly with regard to the structure and responsibilities of audit committees.
